Following a successful pilot earlier this year, the collaboration represents a significant leap forward in modernizing insurance claims management, marking the first partnership of its kind in Europe.

FRIDAY, known for its innovative, fully digital insurance solutions, has now partnered with Upptec to adopt a faster, more data-driven approach to claims handling. Upptec’s advanced Connect and Open-Link solutions will automate the claims process, enabling customers to file claims anytime, anywhere, with real-time market data guiding replacements and resolutions. This automation is designed to provide a seamless experience for policyholders, offering transparency and speed that were previously unattainable in traditional claims processes. Additionally this enhancement of the claims platform enables FRIDAY to serve a growing portfolio in an efficient way and enables the scaling of the company.
The First of Its Kind in Europe
The collaboration marks the first of its kind outside of the Nordics as FRIDAY is Upptec’s first customer implementing the Open-Link solution outside of Scandinavia.
Open-Link is a digital service for insurance customers to self-file a claim at their own convenience. The solution automates the data-driven claims process, ensuring transparency and efficiency even in a larger claim. The tool that allows a seamless claims experience has initially been successfully launched in the Nordics; the solution is expected to expand across Germany and other European markets.
