Upptec and CAB are strengthening their partnership through a new technical integration between Upptec and MEPS. The integration marks an important step towards a more connected and efficient claims process for the insurance industry.
The partnership between Upptec and CAB has evolved step by step. Since February 2026 Upptec’s contents registration has been available through a dedicated access point in MEPS. This allows users to access Upptec’s functionality directly within their daily workflow, without unnecessary system switching.
From parallel workflows to unified handling
For many insurance companies, larger claims involving both building damage and contents have traditionally required separate workflows and systems. This has often meant parallel processes, manual handovers and limited overall visibility across the claim.
With the new integration, the entire claim can now be managed in a more unified way. MEPS handles building damage while Upptec supports contents within the same claim and overall process. The result is improved oversight, smoother collaboration between stakeholders and a shared perspective from first notification of loss to final settlement.
